My niece Terri decided to celebrate her 14th birthday at my house and I was thrilled! She chose a luau theme for her party. That gave me the perfect excuse to try out my new bikini cutters! Her cupcakes were decorated with different colored bikinis and flowers.
I used pink polka dotted cupcake liners since pink is her favorite color.
They swam (the water was COLD) and hung out by the pool.....
Here is a picture of them in their grass skirts and leis

My Easter Cupcakes
Here are some pictures of my Easter Cupcakes. I had planned to take pictures of my dyed eggs also, but I never got around to it. It's kind of sad when your kids are older and nobody wants to help dye eggs or make Easter treats anymore, so if your kids are young don't worry about the mess because one day you'll be doing it on your own! I am REALLY looking forward to grand children!!!

Noah's Ark Birthday Party
This Noah's Ark themed birthday party was just spectacular! This talented mom must have planned this adorable party for many months. She had so many spectacular touches that reflected the Noah's Ark theme. She contacted me about making her some Noah's Ark Fondant Cupcake Toppers in both boy and girl animals, which I did.
Each guest received a bag with snacks inside.
Each lucky guest also received a safari hat and binoculars! Isn't this just SO COOL?
Rainbow candy bar.....
Cheese cut into animal shapes
Rainbow fruit platter
Sandwiches cut into animal shapes
Monkey wrappers for halved bananas served in colorful cupcake wrappers
Big colorful buckets filled with goodies for each guest to take home
Pot O Gold Favors made with brightly colored fruity licorice
The beginnings of rainbow cupcakes, the rainbow colored batter
The baked cupcakes
Cupcakes out of the wrapper
Really pretty Noah's Ark Fondant Topper and tall layer cake
Surprise!!! Look whats INSIDE!!!!
She started with all of these rainbow colored layers
And ended up with this SPECTACULAR GOURMET MASTERPIECE! I've got to try one of these rainbow cakes!
Here are her rainbow cupcakes. I think she used those sour candies that are in strips with rainbow colors.
Here's where I come in.... My toppers are mixed in with her rainbows.
Boy and girl elephants
My Tigers
My alligator
Here is a picture of all of the toppers that I made for the party

Shaggy White Dog Cupcake Toppers
It was my daughter Olivia's birthday and I wanted to make her some special cupcakes. She loves her dog Cole so much, she calls him her baby. So, I decided to make cupcake toppers to look like him. First I tried a new snickerdoodle cupcake recipe. It was not as moist as I had hoped so I'm not posting the recipe but I'll try to tweak it and post my version later.
Next, after the baked cupcakes had cooled, I frosted them with hot pink frosting. I used square shaped white fondant pieces for the dog's faces, then topped them with hand cut jagged "hair" pieces. I used the bottom half of a heart cookie cutter to make the piece for the heads, and just cut triangles out all around. Then I used a small circle with more jagged cuts for the middle. Next I made muzzles from oval pieces with more triangle cut outs. A round black fondant ball for noses and they eyes were made with an edible food color pen. The ears were teardrop shapes and the collars were just rectangles with red fondant hearts added on top.
They really did look just like Cole! I was very happy with the way these turned out!
