Blissdom 2013

I recently promoted my business at a conference called Blissdom 2013 in Grapevine TX.  It was two days of excitement and meeting many new friends.  Here are some pictures of my display at the show and some of the "faux" cakes and cupcakes that I took with me!

My niece Danielle and her husband Justin just moved into their first house and I made the cake for their housewarming party.  I wanted to make birds in a nest and the invitation had a key on it so I decided to put the two together and I love the way it turned out.  Their house is just beautiful and I'm so happy for them!  The banner said "Our new nest".

The inside of the cake had six layers from  pale pink to dark pink.  It was a beautiful day for the party and not only Hailey was dressed in Parisian style, her puppy was too!

My beautiful grand daughter Hailey had her 7th birthday party this past weekend.  My daughter Candie, being the creative genius that she is, created beautiful french posters and invitations to match.  She created a beautiful party table with the posters in frames above it.  I made the cake with Eiffel Towers and pink poodles around the base and a big pink glittery ruffle on top. 

Custom Order for Circus Cake Toppers

This custom order was for a circus cake.  My customer was baking the cake herself and adding my fondant animals and clowns as the decorations. 

Fantasy Seashells

I just completed a custom order for seashell cupcake toppers.  They are for a little girl's mermaid birthday party.  The turned out very sweet, pretty colors, glitter, mini colored pearls and seaweed of course.
